3D Modeling

I am still learning a lot when it comes to 3D modeling and texturing. Below are some of my projects in reverse chronological order.

Character Bust

Hand-painted Character Bust created with Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and 3D Coat. Concept by Steve Zheng. Created in CGMA Course Stylized Character Arts for Games.

Mask Painter Backpack

Hand-painted Fantasy Prop created with Blender, Procreate, and 3D Coat. Created in the Style of Hades by Supergiant Games.

Created in CGMA Course Creating Stylized Game Assets

Sci-Fi Vending Machine

Hand-painted Tea Vending Machine created with Blender, Procreate, and 3D Coat.

Created in CGMA Course Creating Stylized Game Assets

Hand Painted Fountain Scene

Hand-painted Fountain created with Blender, Procreate, and 3D Coat.

Created in CGMA Course Creating Stylized Game Assets

2.5D Cherry Blossom Tree

Hand-painted 2.5D tree created with Procreate and Blender.

Created in CGMA Course Creating Stylized Game Assets

Hand-painted Cubes

Hand-painted cubes created with Procreate and Blender emulating some existing games.

Created in CGMA Course Creating Stylized Game Assets

Zelda Assets

These are assets I created using concept art by Victor Yang. I created the props sticking to the stylization of the concept art, and created a toon shader so they would feel as though they belong in Breath of the Wild.

Shrine

This project allowed me to really learn the tools behind modeling, as a lot of my previous projects focused more on sculpting and organic shapes.

Ori From Ori and the Blind Forest

This project was my first time sculpting an entire character, rigging it and setting up a scene. I learned a great deal about what makes good topology for rigging and animating, as well as the process of taking a 3D project from start to finish.

High to Low Poly Trees

This project was centered around learning how to bake high poly textures on to a low poly mesh in order to create a game ready asset.

Human Bust

In this project I wanted to push my sculpting skills by trying to sculpt a person using a collection of photo reference.

Stylized Bust

This is one of my first sculpts, here I learned about how to transfer 2D knowledge into 3D space.
