Site Specific Animation
This animation is meant to be projected on a door in the CIS building at Skidmore College, which is used for Computer Science, Science, and Math. The creature grows and interacts with the confines of the door, quickly outgrowing its space. The animation represents change and my feelings of growing up and how not only am I moving on from Skidmore, but Skidmore is moving on from me.
Little Red Riding Hood
The prompt was to create a title sequence for a book or story. I composed this animation to hint at the story of Little Red Riding Hood and introducing the two main characters without giving away too much information about the plot. This animation uses hand drawn assets and traditional frame by frame animation.
Metamorphosis Loop
In this animation I played with the idea of the main character shape shifting into a different and more monstrous style, rather than shifting into another creature. It attempts to follow a more Eastern narrative, with an introduction, development, twist and conclusion, and is a perfect loop.
Experiments in Motion
This animation is comprised of 15, 2 second animations that play around with different types of motion and styles. I decided to make each one flow to the next for a more smooth and cohesive piece.
